Kat Meyer is a book publishing industry veteran whose background includes 20 some odd (it's all a blur) years of community management, event curating, editorial, marketing and social media experience working for a number of diverse regional and national media companies, including: O'Reilly Media, HMH, Communication Skill Builders, the University of Arizona Press, Rio Nuevo Publishers, and many others.

Community is where it's at for Kat, and as such she can currently be found oh-so-happily hanging out with the coolest cats in global publishing and publishing-related start ups, acting as Manager for Conferences and Community at Frankfurt Book Fair's "Frankfurt Academy," and possibly working on some other stuff :)
