Lori Rosen is Executive Director of the Custom Content Council (CCC), a position she accepted in May of 2002, when the organization became an independent entity. The CCC is devoted to helping members grow their content marketing practice and educate marketers on the value of content strategies. This is done through proprietary research initiatives, CCC web site promotion, membership meetings, networking, best practices, ongoing public awareness initiatives and the publication of CONTENT magazine.

Rosen is also President of The Rosen Group, a full service public relations firm headquartered in New York City.  The firm implements national media campaigns with an emphasis on consumer and business press.  Clients and projects include the World Almanac, The James Beard Foundation, Brewers Association and the Geothermal Energy Association. The Rosen Group represents several national media brands including Kiplinger’s Personal, Outside, Discover, The Family Handyman and Saturday Evening Post. 

The firm takes an educational and expansive marketing approach, with a commitment to establishing clients as experts in their respective fields.  The Rosen Group comprises a highly talented, creative staff, with a dedicated team designated to each account.

Rosen began her public relations career in 1977 at John Adams Associates Inc., a Washington, DC based public relations firm.  She was involved in public awareness campaigns for major trade associations including the Environmental Industry Council, American Pyrotechnics Association, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Investment Company Institute, Home Recording Rights Coalition and Chemical Manufacturers Association.

In 1980, Lori moved to New York to open an office for John Adams Associates, serving as the New York liaison for the Washington firm.  New York projects included the implementation of a media tour on child safety seats for Chrysler Corporation and executive speaking engagements for American Express Co.

Entering advertising sales in 1982, Rosen handled sales and marketing for the retail advertising category at Fairchild Publications.  A year later she was involved in the launch of a giftware trade publication, where she was the number one advertising sales executive.

Rosen is a graduate of The George Washington University and resides in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey.  She lives with Marshall Grupp and their two children, Holden and Cyerra.  She is passionate about politics, running and “Breaking Bad.”
