Laura Friedman has more than 20 years of experience in building professional content businesses in both print and electronic formats. She is currently the Publisher, Digital Products and Services at McGraw-Hill Professional focusing on developing and managing digital products for technical, academic and business markets.
Laura has held management positions in traditional and electronic publishing at prominent media companies including Pearson Education, where as Vice President of Distance Learning she founded the e-Learning program at The New York Institute of Finance; Simon & Schuster, where she was Director of International Marketing for Professional and Reference Products; and at Book-of-the-Month Club, where she ran the business book program.  Further experience includes senior positions at Vcampus, where she was Vice President of Product Development and Business Development developing a wide variety of digital professional learning products and at Zoologic, where as Vice President of Learning Services she led development and marketing for digital learning products for the Financial Services market.
She holds a MBA from Fordham University and a BA, Psychology/History from the State University  of New York at Albany.
